Well done to all on the club stand, I made it to Billing for the first time and very impressed with lwts on display and met Ken, Gordon and others there. It's always nice to put faces to names. Well done again.

Hope the weather holds out for bbq and agm................

I would like to thank everybody who turned up to support the club, it was a very warm friendly and relaxed weekend.
To many names to list now! but l will write an article for the magazine which Gordon has kindly offered to take it on at the A.G.M. as Mark is unfortunately because of ill health unable to do it.
There were three changes to the officers at the A.G.M. (which are in minutes along with what else happened, and these be in the next copy of the magazine) Debbie kindly took on the role of Membership Secretary, Val is building a website for us, and Gordon took up the mantle of Editor and these names might sound official and scary, even the role of Chairman! but we are still members like all those who we met at the weekend, doing there bit to make it work, so thank you all again.
There were pictures a plenty were taken, and we were in the arena 3 times and each time the Lightweight and the Club was greeted with enthusiasm and great interest.
As l said it was Birthday Party as well and l was spoil rotten and felt pampered, with everything that was done, presents cakes and tarts, a good time was had by all and certainly by me, thank you.

All the Best
Ken

It was good to meet so many members on the club stand at Billing - our second show having joined at the West of England event. We were warmly welcomed and tead (new verb that - the verb to tea) - thanks again Ken.
Thanks for all the technical info, not a question went unanswered!
Sorry we had to leave early and miss the AGM - I was feeling under the weather having taken heavy duty pain killers earlier in the day.
In our haste I forgot to pick up the outriggers kindly gifted to me - did they survive the weekend?
Glad to learn that your BD went well Ken, hope you can find room for the badge,
Cheers,
G&G
